631P Aluminium Alloy Rope Grab, 23 kN

631P is made from aluminium alloy and has a stated breaking load of 23 kN. It is offered for two rope ranges: Ø7 to 12 mm and Ø13 to 16 mm. That covers most of the synthetic lifeline sizes in common use, from thin kernmantle ropes to heavy 16 mm lifelines.

Aluminium keeps the device light compared with steel rope grabs, which helps when the grab is carried between jobs or left on a lifeline that is moved often. Rope grabs of this type serve roofing, construction, tower, tank and maintenance work where a worker needs a fall-arrest connection to a vertical rope.
