621-12 Zinc-Plated Steel Rope Grab with Eye, CE EN 353-2

EN 353-2 is the European standard for guided type fall arresters including a flexible anchor line, the system in which a device travels on a vertical rope and locks to arrest a fall. That makes 621-12 relevant for brands that assemble complete vertical lifeline kits for the EU market, covering construction, roofing, industrial maintenance and structures with ladders or towers.

EN 353-2 performance is tied to the anchor line used in testing, so obtain the specification of the approved rope, including diameter, construction and length limits, and any limits on the connecting lanyard.
