620 Zinc-Plated Steel Rope Grab with Eye, 16 mm Rope

Model 620 is a steel rope grab with a zinc-plated finish and an eye for the user's connector. It is intended for Ø16 mm synthetic rope.

Rope grabs of this type are clamped onto a vertical lifeline that hangs from an anchor above the work area. The worker clips a lanyard or energy absorber to the eye, and the grab locks on the rope to arrest a fall. Zinc-plated steel devices are a common choice for construction, roofing and scaffolding work, where robustness matters more than weight.
