A310 Anodised Aluminium Rebar Hook

The A310 body is aluminium with an anodised finish and is made from 5 mm thick material. Its latch follows an ergonomic design intended to make the hook comfortable to open and close in repeated use. Breaking strength is listed at 25 kN and the gate opens to 51 mm.

That wide opening is what defines a rebar hook. It lets the user connect directly around reinforcing bar, scaffold tube, beams and other structural members instead of looking for a dedicated anchor point. The usual home for A310 is the anchor end of single-leg and twin-leg fall-protection lanyards in construction, scaffolding and steel erection, where an aluminium hook keeps the load on the harness down.

When specifying A310, confirm the gate locking sequence you require, the anodising colour, and any marking demanded by the standard that applies in your market. A closely related model, A310-2, has overall dimensions of 215 x 120 mm.
