312 Drop-Forged Chrome-Plated Compression Snap Hook

The 312 compression snap hook is drop forged and chrome plated. Its throat opening is 22 mm, and the minimum breaking load is 3000 kg / 6000 lbs. Drop forging shapes the hook from a single heated blank under a hammer or press, giving a continuous grain flow that suits load-bearing hardware.

A 22 mm throat clips onto D-rings, eyebolts, anchor fittings and connector eyes. Chrome plating gives the hook a bright, hard surface that resists wear and light corrosion. Hooks of this type are used on lanyards, restraint lines, equipment tethers and in general rigging.
