311 Forged Alloy Steel Safety Snap Hook

311 is forged from alloy steel and heat treated, a combination that gives the hook both strength and toughness. It is 100% proof loaded to 3600 lbs / 16 kN and has a breaking load of 5000 lbs / 22.2 kN.

Steel safety snap hooks are the traditional end connector on shock-absorbing lanyards, positioning lanyards and lifelines, especially where they will be dragged across concrete, steel or abrasive surfaces.
