2442KSG Zinc-Plated Steel Screw-Lock Carabiner

The 2442KSG is the screw-lock version of the 2442 steel carabiner. It shares the 107 x 57 mm frame and 25 kN minimum breaking strength of its twist-lock and triple-lock siblings, but at 182 g it is 17 g lighter than the two auto-locking versions. The finish is zinc plating as standard.

Screw-lock gates are locked by hand, so they are typically used where a connection is made and then left, for instance attaching a rope grab or energy absorber to a lanyard, closing a rescue system, or rigging a fixed anchor. They also suit users who prefer to see and feel the gate locked before loading it.

Confirm the gate opening and the corrosion performance you need before sampling. Include the target standard and markings in your RFQ. Where the end user will clip and unclip all day, consider the auto-locking 2442KTL or 2442KTL-3 instead.
