2442 Steel Safety Carabiner, 10 mm

Model 2442 is formed from 10 mm diameter steel. It has a minimum opening of 17 mm and a minimum breaking load of 2200 kg / 4800 lbs. Standard finishes are zinc plated or black EDC, and the carabiner is also available with a stainless steel pin or a black nut, options that let a brand adjust appearance and corrosion behaviour without changing the frame.

Steel safety carabiners of this size are used to join lanyards, slings and harness attachments in industrial fall protection, and in general safety hardware assemblies where a compact, wear-resistant connector is needed. The black finish suits brands that want a uniform, dark equipment colour.

Request the drawing for gate type, length and weight, and confirm the locking mechanism with the factory. Specify finish, pin and nut options and any standard marking you require.
