B212K Aluminium Auto-Locking Carabiner

B212K is specified as an auto-locking carabiner. Its aluminium alloy frame is formed from 10 mm bar to 107 x 66 mm, the gate opens to 20 mm, the weight is 75 g and the breaking strength is 23 kN.

An auto-locking gate secures itself every time it closes, so the user does not depend on remembering to tighten a sleeve. That is why auto-locking connectors are widely used on lanyards, in rescue and rope-access systems, in arborist kits and by climbers who clip and unclip frequently. It is 10 g heavier than B211 and 20 g heavier than B214K, which share the same frame.

B212K shares its 107 x 66 mm geometry with B211, pictured with a manual locking sleeve, and B214K, pictured with a plain gate, which lets a brand offer three gate options on one frame. When requesting a quotation, state the standard the finished part must be certified to, the sleeve action required (two-stage or three-stage), colours and marking.
