A715KNS Aluminium Keylock Straight-Gate Carabiner

The A715KNS keeps the 50 g weight and 25 / 9 / 9 kN breaking strengths of the A715KNB but uses a straight solid gate with a 19 mm opening. The body is aluminium alloy, and the nose is a keylock design.

A straight gate on the bolt end of a quickdraw is less likely to be levered open by the hanger, and the snag-free keylock nose eases unclipping when the draw is stripped from a route. The carabiner also serves for racking slings and protection on a harness.

For quickdraw programmes, buyers should specify how the two A715 carabiners are differentiated, by colour or marking, and which sling lengths will be used. Power Honour can supply the A715KNS under private label, loose or within a quickdraw, and can quote modifications to a customer drawing.
