A103KTL Aluminium Twist-Lock Accessory Carabiner

The A103KTL is a small locking carabiner in anodised aluminium alloy, weighing 30 g. Its twist-lock sleeve rotates closed automatically when the gate shuts, and the minimum breaking strength is listed at 10 kN.

That rating is well below the strength required of climbing and fall-protection connectors, so the A103KTL should be specified for equipment and accessory use, for example on bags, leads, straps and other light gear where a self-locking gate adds security. It is not for climbing.

Brands sourcing a locking accessory carabiner can have the A103KTL supplied with logo marking, anodised colours and retail packaging, and Power Honour can adapt the frame or gate to a drawing. A screw-lock version with a captive pin, the A103KSGP, is also available. Product labelling and instructions should make the non-climbing use clear to end users.
