SS9201 316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope Clip
The SS9201 is a wire rope clip in AISI 316 stainless steel, listed in eleven sizes from 2 mm to 19 mm with thread sizes from M3 to M14. It clamps the tail of a wire rope back onto the standing part to form an eye or termination, typically around a thimble.

Product details
SS9201 is a U-bolt style wire rope clip in AISI 316 stainless steel, as the product drawing shows. Eleven sizes are listed: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 19 mm, with thread D from M3 to M14. A, H1, F, I, B and H2 are given for each size; the 6 mm clip, for example, has A 15, H1 33, F 8, I 28, B 22 and H2 18 mm.
Wire rope clips form eyes and terminations on balustrade and fencing wire, guy wires, marine rigging and general wire rope work, usually together with a thimble such as SS7050. Good practice is to fit the saddle on the live, load-bearing part of the rope and the U-bolt on the dead end, use the number of clips recommended for the rope size, and retighten the nuts after the first loading. No efficiency or load rating is published for these clips, so terminations made with them should not be used for lifting slings.
