Product details
SS512 duplex clips are made in AISI 304 stainless steel and sized by nominal rope diameter: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm. The body holds the two rope runs side by side and is closed with two bolts, with thread d from M4 on the smallest sizes to M10 on the 10 mm clip. The drawing gives widths b1 and b2, heights h1 and h2, and lengths i1 and i2, with i2 running from 30 mm to 95 mm.
Duplex clips give a compact, tidy termination for small stainless wire on balustrades, garden and trellis wires, signs, displays, awnings and boat fittings, and are often used with a thimble to protect the eye. Compared with the single-bolt SS511, the duplex form clamps with two bolts. Grade 304 suits most outdoor and sheltered marine settings. No holding efficiency or load is listed, so these clips should not be used for lifting or other safety-critical terminations.
Power Honour can supply the SS512 under a private label or to a modified drawing.
