FB-3000 Stainless Steel Wire Cable Bracket for Overhead Lifelines

The FB-3000 wire cable bracket holds an overhead 8 mm wire rope lifeline at intermediate points along its length. Made from stainless steel, it is intended for permanent overhead installations, and it works with the other overhead components in the range: the FB-8000 corner bracket for 90 degree inside turns and the SS980 and SS977 trolleys that run along the cable.

Intermediate brackets keep the cable at a controlled height and limit sag between end anchors, which affects how far a user falls before the system arrests the fall. Overhead lifelines are used above vehicle loading bays, rail and tanker platforms, workshops and walkways where the user needs freedom of movement and there is no anchorage at foot level.

Bracket spacing, the structure it is fixed to and its compatibility with the chosen trolley should all be defined in the system design by a competent person, and the installed system should be assessed to the standard that applies in the market. The FB-3000 can be produced under OEM or private label, or to a customer drawing.
