FB-2000 Stainless Steel Wire Cable Bracket for 8 mm Wire Rope

The FB-2000 is the standard wire cable bracket in the horizontal lifeline range, made of stainless steel and compatible with 8 mm wire rope. Variants include the FB-2000-6065, and the FB-2500 is a separate intermediate bracket offered in stainless steel 304 or 316.

Intermediate brackets break a long lifeline into shorter spans. This reduces sag, limits the deflection of the cable in a fall and so reduces the clearance required below the working level. They also hold the line where the user can reach it comfortably along a roof edge, walkway, gantry or via ferrata traverse.

Buyers should check the bracket's base and fixing holes against the substrate and fixings, the maximum span set by the system designer, and compatibility with the shuttle or connector users will clip to the cable, especially if the shuttle needs to pass the bracket without detaching. The installed lifeline should be assessed against the applicable standard, which in Europe is commonly EN 795 Type C for horizontal flexible lines. The FB-2000 can be produced as OEM or private label.
