A8312 Aluminium Alloy Rebar Hook, 109 mm Opening

A8312 is made from aluminium alloy and opens to 109 mm, roughly twice the throat of a conventional 51 to 65 mm rebar hook. It is offered in two breaking strength options, 25 and 33 kN, so the same geometry can be specified at two strength levels.

Openings above 100 mm are used where the structure to be clipped is large: wide scaffold members, large-diameter pipe, lattice tower members or beam flanges that a standard hook will not pass around. Lanyard manufacturers serving construction, utilities and industrial maintenance use these hooks so that workers can anchor directly to the structure in front of them.

Specify which strength version you need, then confirm length, weight, finish and gate locking sequence from the drawing, since these are not listed. Check also that the hook's size and weight suit your lanyard design and harness parking points. For comparison, A8310 has a 111 mm opening with the same two strength options.
