Product details

200TL-SS is produced in SUS316 stainless steel. It measures 114 mm long and 63.7 mm wide, with 12 mm thickness and a 22 mm gate opening, and has a 45 kN breaking strength. An ANSI barrel version is also available.

Grade 316 contains molybdenum, which gives it better resistance to chloride and pitting corrosion than 304 or plated carbon steel. That is the main reason to specify a stainless connector: on ships, offshore platforms, coastal structures, water treatment plants and chemical facilities, plated steel can corrode quickly while 316 keeps its surface and strength with routine care.

When sourcing, confirm the gate type and weight, which are not listed, and ask what the ANSI barrel version involves so that you can match it to the requirements of your market. Also specify the polish level or surface finish you need and the marking required by your target standard. Power Honour can manufacture 200TL-SS as an OEM or private-label carabiner and can adapt it to a customer drawing.
