2200TL D-Shape Galvanised Steel Twist-Lock Carabiner

2200TL uses a D-type frame in galvanised steel, 113 mm long and 63 mm wide, from 12 mm diameter bar. The gate opens to 21 mm and the carabiner is rated at 50 kN breaking strength. Its twist-lock gate unlocks with a turn of the sleeve and relocks on its own when released.

High-strength steel D carabiners are favoured where loads are heavy or the connector will see rough handling: rescue haul systems, confined-space entry, anchor connections on industrial sites, and general rigging. The galvanised surface protects the steel in outdoor storage and wet conditions. The twist-lock gate is quick to operate, which helps where connections are made often.

Weight is not listed, so request it with the drawing, and confirm the finish and any marking your target standard calls for. If accidental opening against structure is a concern, the triple-lock 2200TL-3 offers the same strength and dimensions, while 2200SG provides a screw-lock gate.
