A8310R Forged Aluminium Double-Action Anchor Hook

A8310R is forged from aluminium and supplied self-coloured, so the finished metal is left without an anodised colour. The gate is double action and self-locking: the locking lever must be pressed before the gate can open, and the gate relocks on its own when released. The listed minimum breaking strength is 22 kN.

Anchor hooks of this style are normally sewn or spliced onto the anchor end of a shock-absorbing lanyard or a self-retracting lifeline, so the worker can connect to a beam, scaffold member or fixed anchor in construction, maintenance and industrial work at height. Forged aluminium keeps the hook lighter than a comparable steel part, which matters on twin-leg lanyards where two hooks hang from the harness.

Ask for the dimensioned drawing to confirm throat opening, overall length and weight, and check that the opening suits the anchor structures your users will meet.
