382 Steel Carabiner, 45 kN, 11 mm Bar

Model 382 is steel, made from 11 mm bar, and measures 125 mm long by 80 mm wide. The gate opens to 27 mm and the listed breaking strength is 45 kN. The 80 mm width gives a roomy interior for multiple slings or lanyard terminations.

High-strength steel carabiners in this size class are used for anchor connections on industrial sites, in rescue and rope-haul systems where loads exceed a single worker's weight, and for rigging tasks that need a closed, wear-resistant connector.
