The SL-200 consists of a main line, available in 15 m or 20 m, and a ratchet side, available in 2 m or 30 cm lengths. The webbing is 2 in (about 5 cm) wide, and the listed breaking strength is 11,000 lbs.
A 2 in line is the common width for beginner and recreational slacklining because it gives a wider, more stable surface to stand on than narrower lines. The ratchet makes tensioning quick without pulleys, and the choice of ratchet-side length lets the user adapt to anchors that are close to or further from the line. Slacklines are rigged between trees or posts, and tree protection is advisable to prevent bark damage.
