Product details
The AH003WR is made from 6061 aluminium and measures 80.2 mm long and 45.7 mm wide, with a weight of 18 g. It has a maximum load of 10 kN and is not for climbing: it is intended for hammocks and other equipment.
Hammock suspension systems need light, quick-to-clip connectors between the hammock and the tree straps, and a wire-gate carabiner of this size suits that job, as well as clipping tarps, bags and camp gear. Its 10 kN rating is well above the static load of a person in a hammock, but it is not a PPE connector and must not be used for climbing or fall protection.
Hammock and outdoor brands can order the AH003WR with their own anodised colours, logo marking and retail packaging, and product labelling should repeat the not-for-climbing warning. Power Honour can supply it under private label or modify the design to a customer drawing.
